Arts Day

Arts Day is intended for admitted and enrolled students with an interest in the Arts at Washington College. Representatives from the Art, Art History, Dance, and Music, and Theatre programs will be available to answer all of your questions and tell you about all of the rich opportunities available for Washington College students. Check out the tours, class shadows, and programming.

Sophie Kerr Saturday

Sophie Kerr Saturday shows you pathways for your literary passion. Take a creative writing workshop with our faculty in your choice of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, or journalism. Meet the English department professors and find out more about Sophie Kerr scholarships, Promise Grants to fund your research and travel, career outcomes, and the country's largest undergraduate literary prize, over $60,000. Chat with current students about their internships, conference visits, publishing opportunities, and favorite classes. Enjoy an Open Mic reading with current and future Washington College students. Take a tour of campus and downtown Chestertown. Join us on Sophie Kerr Saturday to envision your next four years immersed in all the literary life has to offer.

Admitted Students Day

Congratulations! Come celebrate your acceptance by joining fellow members of the Class of 2028 for Admitted Students Day! You'll be able to meet with faculty and staff about academics, student life, and everything in between. You're invited to enjoy lunch in the Dining Hall, take a tour of campus with a current student, and much more.  Admissions and financial aid counselors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
